About the Role

As a Digital Forensic SOC Analyst, you will provide Tier 3 escalation support, conduct investigations for cybersecurity incidents, perform forensic examinations, and create root cause analysis reports. You will also train Jr. Analysts, develop SIEM rules, monitor networks for threats, and communicate with Government counterparts. The role may require on-call support outside regular business hours.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or an Associate degree with 5 years of experience.
Hands-on experience with security monitoring and SIEM tools, preferably Splunk Enterprise Security.
Demonstrated knowledge of cyber forensics and incident handling best practices.
Experience with forensic image capture tools like FTK Imager, MAGNET ACQUIRE.
Experience with system image/file system/registry forensics tools such as Encase, FTK, X-Ways, Magnet AXIOM.
Experience with PCAP analysis tools like Wireshark, TCP Dump.
Experience with memory forensics tools such as BlackLight, Volatility.
Experience with Endpoint Detection & Response solutions like Tanium Threat Response, McAfee.
