About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for handling and serving food to residents, ensuring safety and comfort in accordance with sanitary regulations. Your daily tasks will include cleaning and sterilizing kitchen equipment, preparing and delivering food trays, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. You may also assist in training new employees and perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous food service experience, preferably in a health care setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, and pushing/pulling equipment.
Preferred:
- Genuine interest in geriatrics and serving food with high standards of quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to frequent changes in routine.
