As the Deputy Director of Transit Technology, Bus, you will oversee the implementation and management of technology systems for bus operations, including automated stop announcements and vehicle tracking. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure technology aligns with operational needs and support the strategic planning of transit technology initiatives.

About You

Required:

Five years of professional experience in Technology, Transportation Operations, and/or Transportation Scheduling and Planning.
Two years of supervisory, managerial, and/or leadership experience.
Experience with coding, scripting, or databases.
Experience working with train control, CAD/AVL, ITS, or other transit dispatching or real-time technology.
Experience with product or project management practices in a technology context.
Experience managing vendors or outside consultants.
Experience with GTFS, real-time APIs, or other open mobility data standards.

Preferred:

Master's degree from an accredited institution.
Consulting or management experience.
Public procurement experience.
