About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing instruments and materials for dental procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, sterilizing dental instruments, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and collaborating with dental staff to facilitate efficient patient care. You will also perform chairside assistance, expose and develop dental radiographs, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

About You

Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in dental procedures, terminology, and use of dental instruments.
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise tasks.
Dental Assistant Diploma from an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.

Preferred:

At least two years related experience preferred.
BLS certification required within three months of hire.
Familiarity with dental software for managing patient records and scheduling.
