About the Role
As a Data Scientist 2, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of loss and decline rates, conducting data analysis, monitoring and forecasting, creating and implementing risk rules and strategies, and collaborating with global stakeholders to enhance customer experience while meeting loss rate targets.
About You
Required:
- BS/BA degree with 8+ years of related professional experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis involving large data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or statistical software, and working knowledge of SQL or other relational database languages.
Preferred:
- Experience in management consulting firms.
- Polished communication and influence skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn about current payments industry and risk management best practices.
