About the Role
As a Senior Manager in Data Management and Strategy, you will guide clients through analytics, data governance, and modern data platforms. Your responsibilities include leading engagement delivery, developing resource plans, defining analytics strategies, implementing data governance frameworks, overseeing data management practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, mentoring teams, and communicating analytical findings effectively.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in a quantitative or technical field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
- Demonstrated success in deploying analytics solutions across different oil & gas domains.
- Deep knowledge of data governance, including data quality frameworks and compliance.
- Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and data catalog tools.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau.
- Hands-on experience with big data and cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS.
Preferred:
- Experience in deploying data products in areas such as ESG reporting or operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with data mesh concepts and decentralized data ownership models.
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Snowflake, Databricks or related platforms.
