As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, replication/distribution, and large-scale ingest systems in a Big Data environment. You will optimize all stages of the data lifecycle, develop custom solutions to exploit new and existing data sources, and collaborate with data scientists to craft data pipelines for AI/ML workflows. Additionally, you will work with teammates, service providers, vendors, and users to develop efficient methods and articulate risks associated with software solutions.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years software development/programming experience.
Demonstrated data analysis, parsing, and programming language experience (e.g. Python, Java) coupled with significant SQL/database experience.
Experience with the full data lifecycle, from ingest through display, in a Big Data environment.
