As a Data Analyst, you will work under the supervision of the Directors of Data Engineering and GIS Data Development. Your responsibilities include data acquisition, QA/QC, data maintenance, and data management tasks. You will create maps and data products to support preparedness and response operations, analyze and display GIS data using various applications, and contribute to the development of automated data pipelines, models, and analytics tools. You will also support GIS staff and agency users with geospatial data and tools, fulfill ad hoc requests, and assist in managing the GIS knowledge base.

About You

Required:

A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in emergency management, fire, police, military service, public safety, public health, public administration, urban planning, engineering, or another specialized area.
Or a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas listed above.
Or a master's degree from an accredited college in emergency management, public administration, urban planning, engineering, economics, political science, the physical sciences, or a related field and one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas listed above.
