Summary
Trimble Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join their IS Security team in a remote position. The role involves designing and maintaining comprehensive security architecture to protect the organization's digital assets.
About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security architectures for systems and networks. Your responsibilities include conducting security assessments, managing risks, developing security policies, and collaborating with various teams to integrate security into all projects. You will also stay updated on the latest security threats and support the sales cycle by addressing customer security inquiries.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or a related role.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, SOC, & ISO 27001.
- Experience with network security, cloud security, and application security.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and their managed services.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, container security, and Infrastructure & Policy as code.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell and automation languages (i.e. Terraform).
- Experience with DevSecOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Knowledge of server, OS, and network hardening.
