About the Role
As a Cyber Warfare Technician, you will be part of the Navy Cryptology community, responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on communication signals. You will utilize specialized equipment and work under the supervision of Cryptologic Warfare Officers or Cyber Warfare Engineers. Your duties may include operating electronic intelligence systems, conducting network operations, and providing technical guidance in various warfare operations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
- Interest in advanced electronics and technology.
- Good speaking, writing, and record-keeping skills.
- Strong aptitude for math and detail-oriented work.
Preferred:
- Experience in cryptology or related fields.
- Familiarity with foreign languages and cultural guidance.
- Technical skills in network defense and forensics.
