Summary
Chenega MIOS SBU is looking for a Cyber/IT Systems Apprentice to join their team in Patuxent River, MD. The role involves supporting research into computer, network, software, and information technology systems for a Department of Defense client.
About the Role
As a Cyber/IT Systems Apprentice, you will act under the direction of more senior positions to support research into cyber threats, conduct investigations into computer hardware and software security, and explore information technology architectures. You will also be responsible for other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Earned 60 credit hours towards a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or discipline with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Associate degree in a relevant subject or discipline or completed a relevant technical school.
- Completed some level of relevant military training.
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
Preferred:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation.
