Maximus is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Healthcare to join their team in Lawrence, KS. This on-site, full-time role involves assisting individuals in navigating healthcare programs and benefits with outstanding customer service.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide customer service for basic and routine inquiries via multiple channels such as telephone, emails, web chats, or written letters. You will use computerized systems for tracking and troubleshooting, provide timely and professional responses using pre-scripted answers, assist callers with online applications, maintain up-to-date knowledge of client regulations and policies, and follow privacy and HIPAA rules. You will also provide feedback on call trends and refer calls to senior staff as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to organize simultaneous tasks.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Participation and certification in internal CCO training to begin the role.
- Willingness to work overtime and scheduled holidays as required.
- Ability to work on-site at the Lawrence, KS office location and meet attendance requirements.
