About the Role
As a Criticality Safety Officer, you will support the implementation of the ALDWP criticality safety program, assist in increasing personnel knowledge about operations, monitor criticality controls, and make recommendations for process improvements. You will work independently or as a strategic leader, depending on the level of the position.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 8 years of related experience for level 3 or 10 years for level 4.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in nuclear facility operations, nuclear safety, and nuclear criticality safety.
- Ability to understand and interpret physical and mechanical design documents.
Preferred:
- Current Department of Energy 'Q' Clearance.
- Experience in modeling and reviewing nuclear safety and criticality safety analysis calculations.
- Experience in performing nuclear safety and/or criticality safety basis compliance assessments.
