About the Role
As a Mental Health Aide, you will work closely with the MH/Disability coordinator and mental health professionals to assist children who may have difficulty with classroom management. Your responsibilities will include diaper changing, completing monthly checklists, and working only when the child is present. You will be supervised by the center director and may have varying work hours based on classroom needs.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to record data pertinent to Head Start Performance Standards.
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred:
- Bilingual skills are encouraged.
- Experience working with young children and parents.
