Summary
Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Counter Service associate to join their team in Morenci, AZ. The role involves providing parts and outstanding customer service to fleet customers.
About the Role
As a Counter Service associate, you will be responsible for sourcing parts for specialized equipment, assisting team members and customers with parts knowledge, and ensuring high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will also be tasked with researching and sourcing the correct parts and informing customers about parts availability.
About You
Required:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn about auto parts
- High School Diploma or GED, with Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment
Preferred:
- Background and/or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in airport ground support equipment
- Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and/or inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
