Jobot is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Richmond, IN. The role involves driving cost visibility and ERP optimization for a leading U.S. plastic sheet manufacturer.
About the Role
As a Cost Accountant, you will own and refine cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead, drive variance analysis and process improvements across 8 U.S. plants, manage inventory valuation and standard costing processes under GAAP, collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering on BOMs and routings, and be the finance lead for ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics) from configuration to go-live, providing training and ongoing support post-implementation.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 or more years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
- Strong ERP skills, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics (D365/AX).
- Pro-level Excel skills with confidence working with large datasets.
- Excellent communicator and project collaborator.
Preferred:
- CPA/CMA certification.
- Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
