Summary

About the Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for cooking and seasoning food according to established recipes, managing food storage in compliance with HACCP principles, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. You will also handle paperwork related to food preparation and collaborate with other staff to provide excellent service.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year cooking/baking experience required.
- Ability to read and write English and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work with and around equipment that generates heat, steam, cold, etc.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of HACCP and applicable food codes.
- Demonstrates appropriate knife skills.
Preferred:
- Experience cooking from scratch and/or a la carte restaurant experience preferred.
