Summary
FieldCore is seeking a Controls Field Engineer FEP to join their team in the United States. This entry-level position involves enrolling in FieldCore's Field Engineering Program to develop technical expertise and leadership skills while managing controls activities on-site during the installation and maintenance of heavy-duty turbines and equipment.
About the Role
As a Controls Field Engineer FEP, you will participate in extensive training, both in-person and online, while gaining hands-on experience in the field. Your responsibilities will include managing controls activities during installation and commissioning, interpreting engineering documents, troubleshooting plant systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also be required to travel extensively for various field assignments.
About You
Required:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Strong technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
- Basic understanding of PLC ladder logic and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking and programming knowledge.
- English proficiency.
Preferred:
- Experience in Field Services or Power Generation.
- Experience with Gas Turbine Driver Control Systems and Auxiliary Systems.
- Experience on Mark VI, Mark Vie, Mark V controls systems.
- Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
