Summary
Williamsburg Learning is seeking a Controller to lead their financial operations in Weber County, UT. The role is essential for ensuring financial integrity and efficiency within a multi-entity organization.
About the Role
As a Controller, you will manage financial operations, coordinate with third-party accounting teams, supervise daily financial tasks, ensure compliance with GAAP, and oversee cash management and forecasting. You will also maintain banking relationships, support financial audits, and lead a small finance team while integrating within the EOS framework.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Controller
- Experience managing external accounting teams and overseeing financial operations for multi-entity organizations
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and compliance
- Expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ESA funding programs and regulatory compliance
- Experience in online education, services, or high-growth environments
- Proficiency with accounting software and reporting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Traction / EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
