About the Role
As a Construction Field Engineer/Inspector, you will be responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, verifying construction layouts, assisting project teams, and performing field inspections. You will ensure that project payment item quantities are calculated correctly and participate in field construction meetings. This position requires a combination of office work and site visits.
About You
Required:
- An A.S., B.S. or B.A. degree in an appropriate construction-related, technical or engineering field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or related experience.
- 5+ years of experience in field construction inspection and engineering experience on significant utility projects.
- Available to work on day, night or weekend shifts.
- Ability to communicate with project team staff or others.
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good to great organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience on sewer / water line installation or renovation projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field with career desire to advance in construction management.
- Knowledge of computer software tools such as eBuilder, PlanGrid, and LoadSpring.
