Summary
Rogue Industrial Group (RIG) is seeking a Compressor Mechanic to join their team in Delaware Basin. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing compressor systems to ensure seamless operation in the field.
About the Role
As a Compressor Mechanic, you will be responsible for overhauling and maintaining compressors, diagnosing engine/compressor failures, leading rebuilds and overhauls, addressing electrical systems, conducting start-up inspections, performing mechanical inspections, and providing emergency services as needed. You will also be involved in preventive and corrective maintenance for centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with compressors and electrical (Ariel) engines.
- Ability to drive up to 300 miles per day.
- Experience with pumping units, plunger lifts, gas lifts, ESPs, VRUs, and VRTs.
- Proficiency in necessary computer documentation and data entry.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, driving record checks, and pass DOT drug screening.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of engine-specific software (Caterpillar), Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
- Experience in conducting mechanical inspections using diagnostic equipment.
