Summary
New River Valley Community Services is seeking a Community Support Professional - Intensive to join their REACH team in the Roanoke area. The role involves providing direct intensive community crisis stabilization and prevention supports to individuals with behavioral health diagnoses.
About the Role
As a Community Support Professional, you will assist in the development of individualized behavior support plans and provide training to staff. You will work collaboratively with the REACH team to ensure that services and resources are effectively coordinated among providers, helping individuals to live and participate optimally in the community.
About You
Required:
- Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, or a human services related field.
- Virginia Board of Counseling registration as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A) and/or Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child (QMHP-C) status.
Preferred:
- Additional compensation for employees who speak multiple languages.
