Summary
Straumann Group is seeking a CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift to join their team in Andover, MA. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machinery, producing and inspecting products, and assisting operators to ensure parts meet specifications.
About the Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, assisting operators with part inspection and machine adjustments, visually and dimensionally inspecting parts, cleaning, maintaining, and calibrating CNC machines, and working with small parts while holding tight tolerances. You will follow all departmental procedures and meet quality requirements in a general office and manufacturing environment.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of previous experience as a machinist OR 18+ months experience in Straumann’s machinist apprentice program.
- 1+ years of experience reading blueprints and performing precision measuring of parts.
Preferred:
- Graduate of a Technical or Trade School’s Machinist program.
- Experience with Swiss style CNC lathes.
- Prior Medical Device or Dental experience.
- Attention to fine detail and high quality.
