Peak Machining Group is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join their team in Skiatook, OK. The role involves reading and interpreting technical data to produce quality parts using CNC machine equipment.
About the Role
As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and setting up lathe and milling machines, operating and maintaining these machines, reviewing technical drawings, taking precise measurements, and ensuring quality assurance of produced parts. You will also perform machine maintenance, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to team efforts.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of warehouse experience.
- One or more years of machine operating experience.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to measure using different tools.
- Ability to read and transfer data accurately.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and accept direction.
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated.
- Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, suppliers, and management.
Preferred:
- Five or more years of CNC experience.
- Programming/Setup experience.
- Okuma OSP Control knowledge.
- Fanuc Control knowledge.
- Haas Control knowledge.
- Esprit programming knowledge.
