About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Cytogenetics (FISH), you will be responsible for performing routine procedures such as tissue culture, slide making, and FISH processing. You will determine specimen acceptability, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, and report accurate test results. Additionally, you will maintain quality control, prepare new reagents, and ensure a safe work environment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or a Bachelor's in Cytogenetics/MLS degree.
Preferred:
- Previous clinical laboratory testing experience in cytogenetics/FISH.
- Certification by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG).
- ASCP or AMT certification.
