As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will support departmental goals by conducting analytical blood and body fluid analysis in sections such as Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Toxicology, Hematology/Hemostasis/Special Coagulation, Immunology/Flow Cytometry, Microbiology, Point of Care (POC), and Molecular Pathology. You will be responsible for troubleshooting instrument problems, ensuring laboratory safety, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and competency.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and/or training.
Technical knowledge in one or more of the following sections: Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Flow Cytometry, Hematology/Hemostasis/Special Coagulation, Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Pathology, Point of Care Testing, Special Chemistry, and/or Toxicology.
Knowledge of hospital and laboratory regulations and requirements (e.g., CDPH, CAP, TJC, AABB, FDA, NAACLS, FACT, OSHA).
Ability to recognize and resolve errors and aberrant results appropriately.
Technical knowledge to troubleshoot instrument/equipment problems.
