About the Role
As a Climber, you will be responsible for following directives from the Foreperson to safely climb, prune, and remove trees. Your daily tasks will include loading and unloading trucks, operating various hand tools and gas-powered saws, and ensuring the proper working condition of all equipment. You will also be expected to enforce safety practices and communicate effectively with co-workers, especially during storm work.
About You
Required:
- Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries.
- High School diploma or education equivalent.
Preferred:
- Previous climbing experience.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations.
