Summary
Raymond is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team in Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA, or Remote (Hybrid options available). The role involves leading and executing various civil engineering projects, including site design, grading, road design, and hydrology.
About the Role
As a Civil Engineer, you will lead and perform civil engineering design and drafting for projects from conception to completion. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical documents, training and mentoring junior staff, utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D for design, performing engineering calculations, and communicating effectively with clients and regulatory agencies. You will also provide field services, prepare project fees, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
- 9–12+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S. with active NCEES record.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience managing large project teams and budgets.
- Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulics software.
