About the Role
As a Child Life Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate and therapeutic interventions to promote growth and development while minimizing the stress of a hospital experience. Your daily tasks will include providing child life services, conducting patient/family assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining playrooms and therapeutic supplies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Child Life, Child Development or closely related field.
- Successfully completed Child Life Internship as required by the ACLP.
- BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Preferred:
- Certified Child Life Specialist through the Association of Child Life Professionals, or eligible for certification within 18 months of hire.
