About the Role
About You
- Must be at least 18 years old at time of appointment.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
- Meet qualification, eligibility, physical, and background requirements including a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
- Current health assessment documenting good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and required immunizations including annual influenza vaccinations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs., walk, bend, stoop, and stand routinely.
- Successful completion of annual training requirements and demonstrated on-the-job competence.
- Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Legal obligation to report all suspected incidents of child abuse/neglect.
- Ability to administer medications, perform CPR and first aid, and provide accommodations for children/youth with special needs if trained.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, evenings, weekends, and travel to on/off post locations.
