About the Role
As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will develop and implement a compliance strategy for the Americas, oversee the BSA/AML program, manage regulatory relationships, and lead a high-performing compliance team. You will also provide expert advice on compliance frameworks and ensure alignment with local requirements.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in compliance and financial crime, particularly in financial services, fintech, or payments.
- Extensive people management experience, including leading geographically dispersed teams.
- Deep knowledge of BSA/AML and regulatory compliance across the US, Canada, and Latin America.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex regulatory concepts.
- Ability to think strategically and translate regulatory requirements into business solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
