CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join their team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline. The role involves assisting in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients and maintaining aseptic techniques in the operating room.

About the Role

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will perform a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing patient skin for surgery, maintaining aseptic techniques, providing comfort and support for patients, transporting patients to and from the Operating Room, and preparing the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies according to the type of case.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of the Surgical Technology program.
BLS required.
Certified Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation.

Preferred:

2 or more years of experience preferred.
Experience in multiple surgical specialties.
