About the Role

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of pharmacists to ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations. Your responsibilities will include accurately preparing and labeling medications, tracking prescription orders, maintaining inventory, and performing routine tasks related to pharmacy operations. You will also assist in preparing IVs and managing medication supplies in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

About You

Required:

Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
National certification through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Preferred:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Graduate from a pharmacy technology program.
Sterile Compounding Certification accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
