About the Role
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will carry out treatments under the specific care plan outlined by the evaluating therapist. You will be responsible for detecting signs and symptoms of reactions, addressing goals related to activities of daily living, and reporting these reactions to the Occupational Therapist. Your role will also involve being a professional team player, assisting in patient mobility, and ensuring compassionate care.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Completion of an Occupational Therapist Assistant course approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Familiarity with NetHealth and Point Click Care documentation systems.
- CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Nursing home experience.
- Bilingual skills.
