The role involves providing direct personal nursing care and support to residents in a long-term care facility while also mentoring and training other nursing assistants.
About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for answering patient call signals, providing physical support for daily living activities, reviewing dietary restrictions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake, and offering ongoing training and leadership to Certified Nursing Assistants. You will work closely with residents of various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, ensuring quality care and support.
About You
Required:
Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Aide (CNA).
One (1) year of experience related to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification.
Preferred:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Experience dealing tactfully with personnel, residents, and family members.
