Summary
Accredited Labs is seeking Calibration Technicians of all levels to join their team in South Dakota. The role involves performing calibrations on various equipment and providing excellent customer service.
About the Role
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for completing accurate and timely calibrations in the lab and on customer sites. Your daily tasks will include performing routine and complex calibrations, maintaining calibration activity records, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will interact directly with clients, providing updates and ensuring excellent service.
About You
Required:
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers' locations in South Dakota, with potential for up to 50% travel at peak periods
- Comfortable driving large trucks/vans
Preferred:
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
- Technical Degree or Certificate
- Military PMEL Training
- Metrology experience
- Experience with IndySoft
- CLASS B CDL
