About the Role
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing parts and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining compliance with quality, cost, and performance specifications. You will collaborate with departmental management to achieve procurement goals, build strong relationships with suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms. Your tasks will include supplier sourcing, cost improvement initiatives, supply chain management, purchasing activities, and benchmarking industry trends.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Planning or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 - 4+ years of automotive experience in purchasing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and contract execution experience.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of business personnel.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with an international organization.
- Experience in manufacturing procurement or automotive procurement.
- Ability to obtain a passport.
