About the Role
As a Part-Time Bus Driver, you will be responsible for gently assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle, operating ramps and lifts, and maintaining a clean vehicle. You will also read maps to plan efficient routes, keep accurate records, respond to emergencies, and maintain confidentiality of resident information. Your role will require you to create a warm and cheerful environment for residents while completing ongoing training and other assigned duties.
About You
Required:
- Must have a current Class C driver’s license.
- Must have a valid driver's license in this state with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elderly residents.
- Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs.
- Must be 25 years or older to drive company vehicle.
Preferred:
- Experience in maintaining defensive driving.
- Ability to present a professional appearance.
- Experience in interacting with residents in a healthcare setting.
