About the Role
As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems, performing inspections on physical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, and maintaining the upkeep of facilities. You will communicate with the Director of Physical Plant Operations regarding maintenance issues, maintain a schedule for routine tasks, and assist with the transportation and setup of equipment. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general maintenance and equipment repair.
- Current Arkansas driver's license and auto liability insurance.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred:
- Experience with HVAC systems.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use common hand and power tools.
