Summary
Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join their team in Hamden, CT. The role involves driving the development and marketing of Amphenol’s High Speed Cable product family.
About the Role
As a Technical Product Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to promote products, win new design opportunities, and develop product strategies. Responsibilities include managing P&L for all product families, creating product roadmaps, managing production ramping plans, and developing marketing materials. You will also define customer and market requirements, align bulk wire development with go-to-market activities, and target site KPIs for sales revenue achievement.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with keen business acumen.
- 4+ years of product management, project management, engineering experience, and/or technical business development experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Effective use of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint specifically).
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of experience working in the interconnect industry.
- Experience with Power-BI and/or other data visualization software.
- Ability to integrate with cross-functional teams globally and a willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' to get the job done.
