About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering person-centered services to individuals with behavioral health issues. Your duties will include conducting evaluations, providing individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis interventions. You will also coordinate care with various stakeholders, facilitate recovery-oriented groups, and maintain documentation according to established standards.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program.
- New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW).
- Strong clinical direct practice skills and knowledge of evidenced based practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred:
- Fluency in a second language.
- Experience with documenting in electronic health records and using Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with tele mental health platforms.
