About the Role
As a Bankruptcy Paralegal, you will assist attorneys in all phases of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, draft and file necessary court documents, conduct research, manage case files, coordinate with clients and courts, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures. You will also support preparation for meetings and trials, track deadlines, and maintain billing records.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a paralegal with a strong focus on Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters.
- Deep understanding of federal bankruptcy rules and procedures.
- Proficient in CM/ECF, PACER, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle a high volume of tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Paralegal certificate preferred, bachelor's degree a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, though not required.
