About the Role
As a Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of bakery items, ensuring adherence to recipes and safety procedures. You will conduct task analysis, determine food quantities for baking, plan production schedules, train workers, monitor work-related skills, and ensure compliance with health standards. Additionally, you will assist with inventory management and special events.
About You
Required:
- Three years management experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Illinois food sanitation license, or have ability to obtain license within three months of hire.
- Must possess valid Illinois or Indiana driver’s license.
- Pass a physical and drug test.
- Pass a MVR and criminal background check.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
