About the Role
As an AVP, Principal Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and lead data engineering applications in agile teams. You will implement ETL/ELT processes on big data platforms, oversee testing and production implementation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program delivery. The role requires mentoring team members and staying updated on data engineering trends to recommend best practices.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 4 to 5 years of experience in ELT/ETL/Data warehousing.
- Experience with big data environments such as Cloudera and public cloud solutions like AWS.
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a Data Engineering Technical Lead in a Scaled Agile framework.
- Strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and analytics concepts.
