About the Role
As an AV Technician, you will assist with the installation of AV equipment, maintain organized work areas, support lead technicians in system setup and troubleshooting, and continuously develop your technical skills under the guidance of senior staff. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in the AV industry.
About You
Required:
- 0–2 years of experience in AV installation, electrical, low-voltage, or related trades.
- Ability to read schematics and follow technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment, work on ladders/lifts, and perform tasks on active construction sites.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field.
- Interest in pursuing AV industry certifications (CTS, CTS-I).
- 3+ years of experience with AV installation of various sizes.
- Familiarity with Creston and AMX control systems.
