About the Role
As an Automotive Store Manager, you will lead a team of General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant Store Managers. Your responsibilities include coaching and developing teammates, achieving sales goals, managing inventory, and ensuring the store meets Monro's standards for cleanliness and guest readiness. You will also handle recruiting, hiring, training, and performance management of store staff while promoting products and services to guests.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail/sales environment.
- Proven ability to manage financial results while controlling costs.
- Ability to influence and motivate a team to achieve set goals.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with teammates and guests.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Preferred:
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve customer complaints.
- Basic math skills for calculating discounts and percentages.
- Proactive with demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking.
