About the Role
As an Automation Controls Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of automated control systems, conducting routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including robotics and PLCs, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, upgrading existing control systems, and performing tests to ensure system safety and functionality.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree or certificate in automation technician programs.
- Minimum of 2 years practical knowledge gained through internships or hands-on experience.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with electrical circuits, digital devices, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and computer programming languages.
