Summary
ProSource is seeking an Audio Video Lead Technician to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves leading the installation and integration of AV, home automation, lighting control, and networking systems.
About the Role
As an Audio Video Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site teams, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring timely project completion. Your tasks will include programming and troubleshooting Control4, Lutron, and Crestron systems, conducting client training, and maintaining detailed documentation. You will also mentor junior technicians and uphold safety and efficiency on job sites.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial AV and automation systems.
- Proficiency and/or certification in Control4, Lutron (HomeWorks/QSX), and Crestron.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, configuration, and AV over IP solutions and standards.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces.
Preferred:
- OSHA 10/30 certification.
- Experience with lighting and shade design/installation.
- Avixa, CTS, CEDIA Certifications.
- Familiarity with project management or CRM software.
