About the Role
As an Associate Welder, you will be responsible for setting up the welding machine, gathering work, reading prints, staging work, and welding parts. You will ensure quality production in a safe manner, communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership, and operate other production machinery as directed. The position requires you to use both manual and powered hand tools, read a tape measure to 1/32" tolerance, and maintain a clean work area.
About You
Required:
- One-year related manufacturing experience and/or training in a production welding environment.
- Ability to apply basic algebraic and geometric concepts.
Preferred:
- One-year certificate from college or technical school.
- Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification.
