ADP is seeking an Associate District Manager (Sales Representative, Small Business Services) in Austin, TX. The role focuses on selling payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions to small businesses with 1-49 employees, supported by industry-leading sales training and technology.
About the Role
In this role, you will manage a defined geographic territory targeting small business clients and prospects. Responsibilities include identifying and signing new clients, selling additional solutions to existing clients, cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads, assessing client needs, and closing sales in the field. You will work independently and collaboratively to meet sales goals, implement targeted sales strategies, deepen client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor and ADP ambassador.
About You
Required:
Positive self-starter with an upbeat, persistent style and ability to cold call without fear of rejection.
Strong time management and professional communication skills (written, in-person, and phone).
Problem-solving skills and agility to find solutions in fast-paced change.
Continuous learner mindset, always seeking growth and improvement.
One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or a relevant industry, OR military experience demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through.
Preferred:
Prior quota-carrying sales experience.
Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
